Leon McCarron was the keynote speaker at our first ever virtual conference; as we have all experienced in 2020 virtual events are very different from the usual meeting format and the ability to engage and entertain the audience is very challenging.  Even more difficult when the audience is around the world, across all time zones and for many English is not their first language.  Leon exceeded our expectations in all ways and with 100+ participants joining our online event from all over the world the feedback from the audience on our social channels as well as our formal evaluation showed he made a very positive impact.  Leon entertained us with a wonderful account of his human-powered travels through some of the most desolate and challenging parts of the world, inspiring us with some of the life lessons learned along the way.
