![]() This time three years ago, I was cycling the Desert Road in New Zealand, en route to Wellington with 7000 miles of pedalling on the clock (and, unbeknown to me, another 7000 to go before I would make it home.) ![]() This time two years ago, I was in the Gobi desert with Rob Lilwall, just a few days into our attempt to walk 3000 miles across China. ![]() This time last year, I was in the Empty Quarter desert with Alastair Humphreys near the beginning of a 1000 mile journey from Salalah, Oman to Dubai, UAE. ![]() This year, I'm not in any sort of desert. Alas! Part of me certainly wishes I was. However, I am very excited and proud to be preparing for the premiere of 'Into The Empty Quarter,' the TV series launch of 'Walking Home From Mongolia' and (finally!) finishing off a book telling some of the stories from my cycling adventures. It's been a year for consolidating, for telling the stories I've been fortunate enough to be part of. I sincerely hope you hearing about them - sharing these adventures is (almost) as much fun as having them in the first place.
